My theories regarding this New Age BS

What is time but a measure of the 24 hours that constitute a day? There is no realistic way souls who lived before the advent of the atomic clock could have foreseen an exact date. People who expect the world to change at midnight of year 2012 are not thinking on a large enough scale. Fine, it's the coming of the "New Age," but it's the age of the Aquarius. Maybe during the period from January 20 to February 18 (when the Sun is in Aquarius), the earth will be affected at a rate that, relative to the timeline of the earth, seems like a(n extremely) short period of time, but humans see in a time frame that to us, seems like a long time (for example a week or two). We should be thinking in this bigger scale. And it's great to see that, through education, our businesses and technologies are now being developed and changed to allow for foresight. I have SO MANY thoughts on this hot topic of "climate change."

Territories of influential human power have even controlled the way time ticks because of the way the sunlight moves over the land.

(Insert some thoughts about how humans have lost touch with nature. I would like to see some kind of hybrid calendar that accounts for all aspects of nature. Sure our years pass the way the Romans understood it to, the way the earth rotates around the sun, but it is Selfish to think that our gravity, the only certainty we have, down is down, isn't affected by other celestial objects. Anyway, "they" say the original Roman calendar must have had been borne from some version of the lunar calendar. So at least they gave a whassup to the moon, dang. Whoa, I just had a thought that the Bible must have been written in code. And literal interpretation must have been the cause for heaps of suffering, AS IT CONTINUES TO BE. FUCK religion.)

I HAVE TO WRITE MORE LATER about climate change awareness and how it's going to either continue to cause serious suffering (Suffering. more later.) and devastation or, if we are able to get our SHIT together now, how it (awareness) will save human civilization as we know it (the world you live in), but I'm running out of time. I'm getting bored of writing. There was heaps going on in that sentence. Hee.

But I'm going to go ahead and paste this excerpt from Wikipedia:
------------------------------------------------------
The corresponding month in the Babylonian calendar is Arax Šabaṭu, "the destroying month", also called arax arrat zunne, "month of the curse of rains", associated with the Great Flood. It is dedicated to Ramman, the storm god. The zodiacal sign of this month was called GU = Assyrian , the name of a dry-measure. This was associated with Hebrew kad, "pitcher, jar", presumably in reference to the urn of Aquarius. The name Aquarius of this sign is of occidental origin, while Babylonian astrology symbolizes it with a simple amphora, in reference to the apsû (diluvial) region of the sky.[10]

The astrological symbol for Aquarius is said to represent waves or ripples of water.

---------------------------------------------------------

Interesting fact: The lunar new year for 2012 is January 23, 2012 (Black Water Dragon Year, and the animal year starts February 4, 2012. FUNNY ENOUGH I'm a Dragon. Anyway. Who do I know that was born on that date? Facebook. I love technology.). We are all affected by the gravity of the moon. Nature.

So, The End. New Age thought is where we are now. For some reason, I had to say this today. Multiple times. I had forgotten that I had this thought earlier today and actually had the desire to put it on this damn blog, which I created for the purpose of getting these "Greater" thoughts out. (Zomg, am I going to have to tell my mom I smoke weed? Ouch.) The way I see it, humans have already overcome the balance of negativity, which is the sum word I'm going to use for all that is negative (ha ha, I love redundancy. I visualize this as a tip toward positive on a balance.). For example, one thing I would label as negative is consumerism. I'd also count eating unnatural foods as a negative. Hey, cool, note to self: they are rooted in this idea I'll probably write more about later about living in conflict or coexistence with nature ("coexistence" was the predominant word used for the opposite of conflict in my Tourism Planning and Development class with Dr Young-Sook Lee, a really down as lady lecturer). But, on a large scale, we have only just crossed the peak. Maybe that peak took place back in the 60s. MAYBE we created that peak with widespread cannabis use! I'm sure somebody can come up with a reason why the polarity of the earth affects our brains or something like that. Maybe it'll be me.

Also note to self: more about the wave of life. more visuals. Personal philosophies I've lived by since the first one I can remember creating around the age of 12, relating to the suffering I felt from having to do schoolwork. (ha ha)

So, anyway, if (--lost track of what I was going to say there, oops). Humans (--there must have been more to this thought), hey, if we can't fight nature, then let's just let it run the show. (Zomg, big ups to India.Arie. I'm going to post up the lyrics to her song "Nature.")

I know
Oh, Oh Yeah

[Verse]
Hey baby
Why you rushing
Let's sit back and watch the flowers grow
Why you want
To swim against the tide
Let's lay and watch the river flow

Here in god's creation
There is always a reason
I know, that love is there for us
Yeah

[Chorus]
Where we'll go, baby I don't know
Maybe we should just let nature run the show
Where we'll go, baby I don't know
Maybe we should just let nature run the show

[Verse]
I don't wanna watch no movie
Let's sit and watch the stars put on a show
If you want to win my favor
Be creative, and show me your flavor
Cause here in god's creation
For everything there is a season
Let go Let life
Let love let god

[Chorus]
Where we'll go, baby I don't know
Maybe we should just let nature run the show
Where we'll go, baby I don't know
Maybe we should just let nature run the show

[Bridge]
Like the sun shines and
The wind blows
Like the birds fly
And the moon glows
If I am meant for you and
You are meant for me
Then we will flow together
Everlastly

[Chorus x2]
Where we'll go, baby I don't know
Maybe we should just let nature run the show
Where we'll go, baby I don't know
Maybe we should just let nature run the show

Out
Baby we should sit, watch the flowers grow
Baby we should sit, back and watch the moon glow
Baby, we should feel the wind blow

First you plant a seed
And then it grows and
Then it blooms
And it dies
That the cycle of life
Same goes for you and I
Maybe this time we'll get it right

Go with the flow
Maybe we'll get it right..

WORD. By the way, I'm listening to Acoustic Soul right now and it's bugging me out a little. But I also have more to say about that (the term I know of as bugging out), plus "messages" and awareness. Lots to say about awareness and being in tune with your environment, be it natural or man made.

By the way, the way we measure time is pretty good. You know what it must have all come from? The heartbeat. And what affected/affects the human heartbeat? Nature.

From Wikipedia:
"The first atomic clock was built in 1949 at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards (NBS). The first accurate atomic clock, a caesium standard based on a certain transition of the caesium-133 atom, was built by Louis Essen in 1955 at the National Physical Laboratory in the UK. This led to the internationally agreed definition of the second being based on atomic time."

also there's information on Aquarius here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquarius_(astrology)

also info on the Gregorian calendar (in use today):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar

I just went on this ENTIRE mind train because I was trying to convert the time of
12 noon US Eastern Daylight Savings Time on September 14, 2008 to Queensland, Australia, which I just found out was:
02:00:00 Monday September 15, 2008. And I'm going to write that in my planner because today, after writing this, I'm going to sort out my life. (Not that it's hectic. I just need to write down some events in my planner.)

What is my talent? I'm starting to think that it's my ability to see the bigger picture.

What's yours? More to say on talent, and happiness.

By the way, I understand formality, but what's up with seriousness?

Also, I love The Simpsons. The creators have boiled down the bell of personality types into one community. That is beautiful. Big ups. Martin died?! Man, it's been a while since I've watched that show, (which I grew up on.) The show was just another seed. Okay, the reason I came over here to write was because Bart said, "Martin was like Jesus." And that's totally what Jesus was! Pure. And because of that, he had difficulties integrating with society.

(Many more thoughts. That was like 6 trains shooting off in different directions.)

Man, I'm being bugged out by everything. There are so many triggers in our complicated life.
So... my thoughts (that came out of nowhere while trying to watch that same episode of The Simpsons with Tsu... tried to limit my writing to commercial breaks, but this was, hey, a higher priority. Get it out!!) were on how language is evolving. We are evolving toward one language--English. Not that all these other languages will be obsolete. Too much preservable culture exists to simply drop tradition. That would be criminal! because so much beauty lives within these different cultures. But it makes sense now that humans have reached around the earth--reached our peak, we would continue this evolution toward Unity. It also makes sense that within each culture (e.g. Chinese), an umbrella language also dominates (Mandarin). Do you think the English dictionary will eventually devolve into a more simplistic style of writing? For example, I've read that professors now are getting papers that are written in e-shorthand. Lyk dis. In some cases, it would make sense to get some kind of uniformity across the language in terms of vowel sounds and consonant use. But the way words are now tends to make sense. Simple. (What more can I say? --man, lately I've so been into India.Arie)

Note to self: The end of my story is that the earth is going to die someday, when our star balloons into a Red Giant. We, our souls, should enjoy our planet while it lasts, and the only way to get there comfortably, NOW, is to accept the New Age of living symbiotically with the planet.

Even if you don't believe in souls, that the end of life isn't The End, why not just work to make the world a better place? Purely for positivity and for the future. We could live in a beautiful world... today.

So anyway, my time 02:00 Monday, September 15, 2008 I'm going to be participating in this:
http://www.thepeaceintentionexperiment.com

Why not? What harm could come from that? If you are reading this, this could be an opportunity that you choose to either take or ignore. And you are doing nothing wrong by ignoring it. But you are also doing no good. I have more to say about opportunity. But if anything, this sister could use the publicity. Put some ads up or something girl! If this woman intended to simply make an impact on the conscious community of this world, then she has accomplished that. Plus, I'm way interested in this experiment.

Also, note to self: Duality, polarity, humanity. Ity.

People who believe in astrology, or say, the lunar, Mayan or Babylonian calendars, are not wrong. Way too many commas in that sentence. Grammar is just another formality!
They are rooted in what we know from the earth.
We have not stopped creating.
Do you believe in time travel?
Note to self: Wormholes, the human ability to create, the end of the earth, will we need an ark? An ark can be arranged by compacting the best of organic life down into two strands. If all our beautiful creatures are about to die, can we please somehow save the genetic makeup of them now, for the future? How the hell do you preserve genetic diversity? Zomg, another note to self: how this peak is the peak of human diversification. We are fully there--healthy and smart peoples, reproduce! (Okay that was a ish-house joke, my bad.) Hilter. Prejudice is another negative.
Are we ready to accept that there must be other life in this universe? Only, is it intelligent? Isn't it funny that humans know of a planet that already exists out there with conditions very similar to earth? I think I've shared information about it before. If xanga ever comes up with an archive search function, then that's when I'm going to make that whole dilly public. For now, I'm just going to Google it. Here we go:
http://www.esa.int/esaSC/SEMDJ3NZCIE_index_0.html

An excerpt:
"Altogether 160 exoplanets have been found since the first was discovered in 1995, but all of them have been very different to those found in our Solar System. This new planet, which is only about five times bigger than Earth, is the smallest exoplanet ever found orbiting a star."

We know what we have to do to warm that ish up, jiggas! Joke, terrible joke. Oh man.
I would love to see the future. But I guess the only consolation I have is that... my soul just might when I die. And that's why we strive to make the world a better place.
Hope, from Pandora's box.
I don't even know if I believe yet. Somebody, please, prove soul life to me. And I feel like my brain has already started trying to figure it out, because I've had these thoughts before. Good sign, for future writing.

Blogger needs to introduce a function to solve the problem of losing place when you toggle from html editing to the composition user interface. It's a really simple inconvenience (and I def don't give a what), but we have the technology to overcome it. The human ability to create.

Note to self: language and our limited ability to express our emotions (came from using the phrase "be safe" with Tsu before she left to go get her drink on at PA tonight, hee), the evolution of language. Adding more words to the English dictionary is pretty useless because there are only so many words we have time to put our mouths around or read. ...part of the reason why some say the smartest people say the fewest words.

Why the F do toilets not have a seat built in? What's up with this double lid thing? Porcelain is really great, truly. It's classic and beautiful, but what if you were to have a plastic seat (for warmth) that interlocked with the ceramic? Or a million other ideas. A niche exists to innovate the toilet bowl--I say somebody should fill it. In a perfect world, our tools would have just one, perfect design. If one word were to sum up the end of my opinion on perfection, it would be sustainability. (Why investment in sustainable firms simply makes sense.) How do you keep perfection from being boring? More thoughts, later. At Griffith, I'm very, very proud to say that the idea of sustainability is woven into pretty much all of what we're being taught now. Man, my lecturers would be proud. (ha ha)

Note to self: compulsion and prioritizing, also as a survival mechanism, humanity

Okay I could go on... very possibly forever. Because life is complicated.

Oh, and cuss words are a natural part of human language, but I'm still going to try to hold back using the the really offensive ones.

So I wrote this all over the place, back and forth, fleshing out ideas from the very top, and kind of putting new thoughts at the bottom. Can you tell? That took a good amount of patience to get out. And time, because I'm an old lady when it comes to all this. It's time to "sort out my life." I'm prioritizing. Wow, I'm back down at the end of this entry, and three (a number I have teeny tattooed on my body thanks to Cath) hours have passed since I felt like wrapping it up (when I started, ha ha). S-L-O-W as.

My side notes, plainly, are in parenthesis, but some "extra" thoughts are peppered through whatever I've gotten out. My plan is to organize all these thoughts in a single document, share them on the internet here: http://transcendentality.googlepages.com and try to make some bank with Google Ads. But I would like that idea of publishing my thoughts/philosophies to evolve as well, really make a difference by spreading the word in what I'm extremely passionate about... climate change. If ya'll are interested. So can I get a little feedback? Uninteresting writing is like hearing a boring story, so please let me know your thoughts.

Who is to say what is what? Who decides? How do I get there? Why do I feel like I am "right" about life? Everyone has their own perspective. It is the collective intelligence of humanity that should be considered. We are all gods. We are all queens and kings, brothers and sisters. And, while I have more to say about this, too, our technologies, especially the internet, will eventually enable all voices to be heard. Like mine.

One love.
I'm going to go get elevated. (haha)
I also have theories about de herb, mon, and how it connects us.

Is anyone else thinking these same thoughts? I would be happy to learn that they're not unique.
Sorry if you don't like cuss words. Or drugs (although alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, and many others have slipped through the legal radar). Watch Pineapple Express please.

So, fuck!, how did this all come about?
The universe,
from which squeezed out a planet with such rare conditions,
from which came human,
an animal that can play God.
If we have souls, then will we live until the end of time?
When will we solve the mystery of the universe?
If you believe in spiritual evolution, do you believe that our spirits could have once been non-human?
Will humans ever create a machine with a soul?

Man, I'm bugging.
Laters.

Can I copyright this shit? Or is that selfish of me? Hey, it's human.
(A quick search on Intellectual Property later...)
Well... do I need to? If this is me?

Copyright created on the date of publication.
(just to make sure, hee)

Anyway...

"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants"

--Sir Isaac Newton (written in a letter to his enemy Robert Hooke, February 1676)

He was human. And one of the few characters in the history of civilization who I idolize (and who I know of).

We are all part of this continual story, especially so now that we have the widespread ability to document individual lives.

By the way, I like Blogger for many reasons, but also because it's ad free. No doubt, I'd host this blog at Gaia.com if it were ad free. Horizontal integration, diversification, or whatever, anyone?

Ha! I didn't think I'd end up believing in this, but I think I'm a 9. Or between an 8 and 9.
